I began working at Continental School District in 2014. I taught a multi-age (4/5) inclusive classroom during my first year at Continental. I taught math and science the following year working with the fifth-grade team. Moving where I was needed, I began teaching 6th and 7th-grade math for the next two years. Continuing on, I began teaching 6th/7th science along with Science enrichment and moved on to 7th/8th-grade science. Now I decided to move back to math which I have a great passion for.
Prior to becoming a member of the Continental Staff, I taught at a chart school teaching 5th and 6th-grade inclusive classrooms. I have also worked in a 3rd-grade classroom. Prior to teaching, I was the personal lines manager at a large insurance agency. I worked as a Paraprofessional with autistic children as well as doing volunteer work at school.
